Over break I did thoughtful thing. My dad and his girlfriend wanted to go out for the night but there was no one to watch me and my sister. So i volunteered to watch her. During that time everything seemed fine at first until she started getting wild. She wanted a snake almost every 10 minutes and she would make a big mess. She wanted to bring all her toys into the living room and make a bunch of noise. She even started climbing and jumping on me. Everything was going crazy, I wanted to call my dad but then I realized that if I call them they might get worried and might come back home early and I didn't want to ruin their fun. So I kept going and trying to make her sit still. After hours of trying to get her to sit still, I finally asked her if she wanted to watch a movie. We put a movie on and I made popcorn. During the movie she fell asleep on top of me, and it was really uncomfortable but at least she was quiet. I stayed up until my dad came home and he said he was proud of me and I was proud too. But now I know not to volunteer so quickly.
