Summer Reading Blogs📝📚

My first summer reading Blog:
The book I am reading is called "Chopsticks" by Jessica Anthony and Rodrigo Corral. So far in the beginning of the book, there are pictures of the news channel on TV and also the newspaper. On TV and in the newspaper they talk about Gloria Fleming, world famous pianist, was reported missing. The book then travels on the 18 months earlier, before Gloria went missing. Next door from Gloria's house, lived a boy named Fransisco, who moved in with his mom and dad. Fransisco hates school, he hasn't been good at school. And every since he met Gloria, his grades been getting worse.

Character Analysis:
So far in the book the main characters, Gloria and Fransisco, have met and gotten pretty friendly. Gloria is happy and polite towards Fransisco. An example of how she is being nice is that on page 61-62, there is a picture of a note that says, "come over, if you want...". This shows that she has an interest in him and wants to get to know him better. Fransisco loves the idea of him and Gloria. In Francisco's notebook, he writes, " how can I stop thinking about her", on page 64. This means that he really likes her and that they are forming a relationship.
