My Intentions

My Intetntions for 2017 is to actually persuade my goals and get through them. I feel that is a real problem for me because I set goals but I sometimes don't go all the way through like I want to. For example, I like basketball and I want to better at it. I set goals like practice at this chain time and practice free throws or lay ups, but over time I stop getting into the habit of doing it over and over to get better. I think something that can help me get better at perusing my goals is a chart of of goals that I wanna persue. Therefore, this is what I want to work on in 2017.

Racism needs to go!!

If the constitution says that all men are created equal, why are people still suffering and being disrespected for their race? No one wants to be treated like they don't belong because of their skin color. Even kids get pushed and bullied because of their skin color in school. And adults are being disrespected. Why do people in America or in any country has to go through this. We are all humans and we deserve the respect and kindness we need.
Racism is "the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races". Racism is a global issue that can happen to anyone. This is an issue because people are getting mistreated by people who think their race is better then someone else's.  Racism includes equality, en example is when Rosa Parks had to move out her seat because of her race. Many people die for their race. It's important that we address this issue so that we help others such as stick up for them when someone is being racist. Doing something little such as that can do so much for the other person.
White Europeans took people as slaves. Slaves usually did outdoor chores in all types weather. They worked long hours with barely any breaks. White Europeans thought that they were superior to African Americans. Africans Americans such as Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman and more black people who fought to get their have their equality and their rights. African Americans finally got their rights back with the help of Martin Luther King Jr. But just because we African Americans fought and died for out rights and equality, there are still racism and negativity towards black people. Not all people feel this way about about African Americans, but there are still lots of people that do. This is a big issue because no just black people, but other races such as Muslim and Mexican people are getting disrespected because of their race and the color of their skin and it is not fair.
Therefore, racism is a ongoing issue around the world that needs to be taken care of. How would you like it if someone called you bad names. We need to be careful with our words so that it doesn't hurt other people.

The best gift ever!๐ŸŽ

It was 2 years ago on Christmas, when I got my first Nintendo 3ds. For Christmas that year, I mostly asked for money and cute clothes, because I didn't really know what else I wanted. So on Christmas Day at my grandma's house, I got $190, some outfits, a new dork diaries book and I also got a fluffy chair for my room. My brother got toys but he also got a 3ds xl. When I saw him open the box I got really jealous because I wanted one too. I wanted one because my best friend had a 3ds xl too and every time I went over her house she would let me play with her 3ds xl and we would take turns playing it. So I always wanted a 3ds xl because I thought it was really cool and fun. My parents explained to me that they didn't get me one too because they didn't think that I would play with it. So when I told them that I wanted one too, they supported me and we went to get one from GameStop. I spent my $190 on my 3ds xl and I had $left so I used $20 to buy new games. I was so happy that I got it. My parents even suggested that I should buy a screen protector for it. When we got back home I played on it all day. I actually still have and I play on it when I'm bored honestly but I still love it and I'm still happy that I got it, because it was really the best gift ever!

My favorite quote is
"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is youer than you!
 -Dr.Seuss
This is my favorite quote because to me it means that there is no one else like you, and you can only be you. This means a lot to me because I think everyone should read this quote because lots of people try to be like someone else, or they want to be someone else, but they should be themselves.

I'm Thankful for.... ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm thankful/grateful for so many things. I'm thankful for having a loving family who cares about me. They make me smile and laugh and help me when I need them. I'm thankful to have somewhere to live and clothes on my back and having enough food to eat because not many kids have those things. I'm also thankful for getting the things I ask for AND the things I need while some kids can barely get the things they need. Also for being able to get an education and for having rights. As I got older I realized that I need to be more grateful for the things I have because there are kids out there that don't have anything and they wish they had something. So I am thankful for everything in my life and grateful to have them.

My Six Flags Adventure๐Ÿค—๐ŸŽข

This summer on July 2, my birthday, I went to six flags. I was so excited, I packed my bags the day before so that i could be all ready to go. First me and my mom went to pick up Faith, then Tatiana. Faith is my best friend and Tatiana is my cousin. Faith was 14 and me and Tatiana were 13, so Faith was the oldest one there besides my mom. We drove to a restaurant called "steak and shake". After we had lunch at "steak and shake", we drove to six flags. It took about 30 minutes so me, Faith and Tatiana played car games to pass the time. We played games like I spy, concentration and other games I can't remember๐Ÿ˜‚. When we finally got there, it took a while to get in with so many people there, but when we finally got in. First we went to use the bathroom because it was a long car ride. We then went to go get flash passes. Flash passes get you to the front of the line so that you don't have to wait. I was so happy that my mom got those for me because no one wants to wait in a long line on their birthday. First we went to the demon, then the viper, the raging bull, x-flight and way more. We went on every single ride except for the Goliath, the ride that I wanted to go on most of all but we ran out of time. After we rode all the rides we went to a hotel. My mom ordered pizza and we hung out there until it was time to turn off the lights. That day was super fun, and I'll never forget it because it was my first time that I ever went to six flags๐Ÿšฉ๐ŸŽข

"The Killer Clowns"๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ‘น

Have you been chased by a clown? Throughout the months of September and October of 2016, students have been talking about the killer clowns. The killer clowns are said to be people dressed up as clowns going around chasing people. A 8th grade student from Heritage Middle School said that he saw a clown outside of his house. Some students are afraid and some are not. Some even think that it's not real, but videos and pictures say otherwise. There have been videos of clowns chasing people with dangerous materials and weapons. Another 8th grade student said that she and her friend saw a clown on their way to another school for a basketball game.
The clown situation is getting out of control, even the police are getting involved. One day at Praska park, Heritage Middle School students were practicing for cross country. Ms.Bortscheller, a teacher from heritage, was outside with the students. She over heard students talking about the clown and she contacted the police. Two policemen then arrived at Praska park and Ms.Bortscheller went to go talk to them.  Then one of the policemen went to go look around, but he didn't think anyone dressed as a clown. This situation with the clowns is not just happening in one state, it is happening in others states too, and possibly in other countries. One student from heritge said that she was going to stay home on Halloween because she doesn't want to see any clowns. Lots of students are going out trying to locate the clowns. But should they go out? What if the clowns are going have violent weapons? No one will know until October 31st, 2016, the day of Halloween

Barbie ADDICTION!!๐Ÿ‘ธ๐Ÿผ

When I was a little girl I was in love with Barbie. I had Barbie dolls, Barbie clothes, Barbie cars, Barbie movies etc. Whenever I saw a something on the tv about Barbie I would run to my mom and ask her if we could go see it. Almost every Christmas I got Barbie dolls and I would play with them for hours if I could. I even asked my mom if I could go on her phone to watch Barbie videos on YouTube. I honestly don't know why I loved Barbies so much. Now I don't even have a single Barbie doll in my house, I gave them all away to my God sister when I was 10. Still to this day, I still don't know why I ever liked Barbie dolls.

Best Trip EVER!๐Ÿ˜€

Last year during summer break, I went to Wisconsin to visit my dad and everyone on that side of the family. It had been a really long time since I seen my dad so it was very exciting to go see my dad after all these years. I couldn't wait for the day to come. On the day I went to go see my dad, it was on the 4th of July. When my mom dropped me off at my dads house, we gave each other a big bear hug. I only stayed for a week but it was still really fun. I got to see my half siblings and I got to meet a lot of cousins. Everyone was so happy to see me. My aunt even had a girls sleepover at her house and all my cousins came over. I also got to go to the movies with my dad and my little sister and my cousin. We did more fun stuff that week like going to the lake, going to the mall, staying over my aunties house, and just chilling at home. I can't wait to go back to Wisconsin to see my dad.๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

Summer Reading Blogs๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“š

My first summer reading Blog:
The book I am reading is called "Chopsticks" by Jessica Anthony and Rodrigo Corral. So far in the beginning of the book, there are pictures of the news channel on TV and also the newspaper. On TV and in the newspaper they talk about Gloria Fleming, world famous pianist, was reported missing. The book then travels on the 18 months earlier, before Gloria went missing. Next door from Gloria's house, lived a boy named Fransisco, who moved in with his mom and dad. Fransisco hates school, he hasn't been good at school. And every since he met Gloria, his grades been getting worse.

Character Analysis:
So far in the book the main characters, Gloria and Fransisco, have met and gotten pretty friendly. Gloria is happy and polite towards Fransisco. An example of how she is being nice is that on page 61-62, there is a picture of a note that says, "come over, if you want...". This shows that she has an interest in him and wants to get to know him better. Fransisco loves the idea of him and Gloria. In Francisco's notebook, he writes, " how can I stop thinking about her", on page 64. This means that he really likes her and that they are forming a relationship.

10 years later ๐Ÿค”

Throughout the years I want to see myself improving my personal goals. One of my goals that I want to accomplish 10 years later is to become a nurse. I want to be a nurse because I want to be able to help people who are injured and be able to say that I helped that man/woman live. My dream is to become a basketball player. I don't know if that dream will come true, I will work hard everyday to make sure my dreams and all my goals are accomplished
